In the SPECIAL COMMUNICATION "Aqueous Quaternary Ammonium Antiseptics and Disinfectants: Use and Misuse" published Nov 22 (236:2415-2417, 1976), the name of an effective disinfectant agent was omitted. On page 2417, column 1, line 24, the sentence should conclude: "... either carefully performed pasteurization or disinfection with acidic or alkaline glutaraldehyde 2% is far more effective than treatment with AQACs."
