To the Editor.—
In their article "Brain Surgery in Aggressive Epileptics" (226:765, 1973), Mark and Neville make clear the "solid" relationship of "aggressive, assaultive behavior" to "focal brain disease." They even identify the kind of violent behavior for which neurosurgery might be legitimate: "Personal violent behavior, unwarranted and usually unprovoked acts that directly attempt to, or actually do, injure or destroy another person or thing."Obvious to all, the most common candidates for such psychosurgery are abortionists.
