Hepatitis B Antigen and Antibody: Occurrence in Families of Asymptomatic HB Ag Carriers

Abstract

A serologic survey for HB Ag and antibody in 17 families, each with one adult who was an asymptomatic HB Ag carrier, demonstrated an increased frequency of hepatitis B infection in family contacts of the carrier.
