In the ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTION "Intrauterine Devices and Acute Pelvic Inflammatory Disease," which appeared in the April 26 issue of The Journal (235:1851-1853,1976), Table 2 incorrectly gave the percent of controls having pelvic inflammatory disease while using contraceptive methods other than the Pill or intrauterine devices as 19.5 instead of 14.5.
