In the April 25 issue of The Journal (237:1826, 1977), the LETTER "Respiratory Health and Polyvinyl Chloride Fumes" contained an error. The first complete sentence in column 3 should read as follows: Proportions with declines in FVC of 100 ml or greater, FEV1 of 100 ml or greater, FEF25-75 of 400 ml/sec or greater, instantaneous flow at 50% FVC of 500 ml/sec or greater, or at 25% FVC of 300 ml/sec or greater, were not significantly different in the exposed and nonexposed groups.
