To the Editor.—
The article on smallpox vaccination by J. Michael Lane, MD, (237:2419,1977) was very interesting. However, he stated that smallpox vaccination is not required for entry into Mexico. That is not the case if one enters Mexico from most countries besides the United States. Smallpox vaccination is then required.
