In the Aug 8 issue of The Journal (238:506-507, 1977), the last sentence of the synopsis-abstract of the BRIEF REPORT "Indications for Liver and Brain Scans: Screening Tests for Patients With Oat Cell Carcinoma of the Lung" should read as follows: "We concluded that scans of the liver and brain are not useful methods of screening the patient with oat cell carcinoma who has no clinical evidence of liver or brain involvement."
