Abstract

Cannabis metabolites are antigenic and capable of eliciting an immune response. With the indirect Coombs test, humoral antibodies were found in 15 of 17 subjects who were habitual smokers of the plant. The relationship of cannabis-induced antibody formation to clinical disease was not determined.
