Life on an isolated Indian reservation not perfect, but..
.It's easy to get to Kayenta, Ariz. "Just fly to Cortez and rent a car; it's only a couple of hours from there... but if you get the evening plane, don't try to drive at night. We lose more people that way."John C. Lewin, MD, sounds very reassuring. He hardly ever sees highway fatalities in the daytime, at least when the weather is good. Just one problem: "Where's Cortez?""Oh, southwestern Colorado. Just fly to Denver and pick up a Frontier flight—they have two a day. Better call ahead about the car; I don't think the Hertz guy is there all day."He isn't. But once you locate him, it is easy to get to Kayenta. It's just that it's hard to tell you've arrived.Anyway, Jack Lewin isn't there; he's over at the clinic at the Navajo boarding school
