To the Editor.—
I was amazed and horrified to read the article on "The Marihuana-Induced 'Social High' " in which ten freshmen medical students who had had "extensive experience" with marihuana and had used some other "psychedelic" drugs were used as subjects. To make matters worse this was printed without editorial comment. Can these young men become responsible physicians? A thousand other questions about ethics, judgment, reliability, and medical schools can be asked. Surely you have some comment.
