In Reply.—  Dr Strauss's letter strengthens and adds to the comment I made in regard to leukocyte transfusions in children. He pointed out that the children responded to only one or two granulocyte transfusions, which may illustrate the relative volume differences in the transfusion and the size of the patient. I would thoroughly agree that this must be regarded as experimental therapy for which informed consent must be obtained. No doubt in the near future there will be control studies available in children. I thank Dr Strauss for his interest in this matter.
