To the Editor.—
Andalusia is in the southern part of Spain; Málaga is the capital of an Andalusian province. It was in Málaga that Pablo Picasso was born and where he spent his early years before moving with his family to Galicia and then later to Barcelona.Although he lived in Catalonia for several years, I doubt that Picasso ever mastered the Catalan language. He certainly never considered himself a Catalan national, as was stated in THE JOURNAL.1Joan Mirḿ and Salvador Dalḿ bring honor to the Catalan people. Allow Picasso to do the same for the Andalusian.
