The term emergency care providers in the abstract of our article was intended to be a summary reference to all individuals who by virtue of their occupation (physician, ambulance attendant, policeman, park ranger, schoolteacher, etc) may be called on to provide assistance to victims of anaphylaxis. This connotation should be apparent to those who took the time to read the entire article.
