Abstract

An error occurred in the DATTA Report entitled "Noninvasive Electrical Stimulation for Nonunited Bone Fracture," published in the February 10 issue of The Journal (1989;261:917-919). On page 919, column 1, the third sentence of the fifth complete paragraph should have read as follows: "The fractures healed in [not `Fractures in'] five of seven patients with the dummy machines and five of nine with working machines, leading [not `led'] the authors to conclude that conservative management of nonunion can be effective."
