We appreciate Dr Guazzo's compliment concerning the Osler Lecture Series at Madison General Hospital. It was not our intention to be inaccurate when referring to Dr Osler's philosophy as humanistic. As evidenced by several programs in the series, our use of the term implied a broader dimension, which in no way excludes the spiritual.
