Incorrect Data

Errors occurred in the Special Communication entitled "Disposing of the US Chemical Weapons Stockpile," published in the August 4 issue of The Journal (1989;262:653-659). On page 654, in the Figure, the following should have appeared as the last entry preceding "(42%)" under Tooele Army Depot: "VX—Projectiles, Rockets, Mines, Spray Tanks, and Ton Containers." On page 655, the footnote to Table 1 should have read as follows: "*Data from US Department of the Army.3 [not '7']." On page 656, in Table 2, the last three entries in column 2 and the second entry in column 3, respectively, should have read as follows: "1×10-4 [not '1×10-5']," "1×10-5 [not '1×10-4']," "3×10-3 [not '3×10-6']," and "3× 10-6 [not '3× 10-3']." On page 657, column 1, paragraph 2, lines 12 through 15, the maximum atmospheric concentrations of nerve agents should have read as follows: "1×10-4
