An error occurred in the Brief Report entitled "Frequency of Adverse Reactions to Influenza Vaccine in the Elderly: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Trial," published in the September 5, 1990, issue of The Journal (1990;264:1139-1141). In the third column on page 1139, the third sentence of the second paragraph should have read as follows: "Subjects in sequence 1 received a 0.5-mL intramuscular injection with a 25-gauge, 5/8-inch needle of split-antigen trivalent 1988-1989 influenza vaccine (A/Taiwan/1/86 [H1N1], A/Sichuan/2/87 [H3N2], B/Victoria/2/87)."
