Diseases of the Nails and Their Management is a masterful, comprehensive reference on nail diseases and their treatment. Written, notably enough, by a Frenchman and an Englishman, this textbook explores the science of human nails. It is an expanded version of an earlier edition, now featuring full color and a more complete section on nail surgery.
The quality of the illustrations is quite high throughout. The first 35 pages on basic science of the nail apparatus are extravagantly illustrated with well-executed line drawings that complement the clinical pictures. Excellent photographs are found on nearly every page, some illustrating quite rare phenomena.
