Abstract

To the Editor.—  I read with interest the treatise on phenytoin and red urine (1983;249:1723), since I recently encountered just such a patient and reported the same in a letter to the editor in the journal Urology.1I discussed this phenomenon with the medical department representative of Parke-Davis at that time, and he indicated that they have "over the years received many such anecdotal reports."Therefore, from my own experience and the apparent existence of other such reports, I must respectfully disagree with the authors' conclusion.
