Incorrect Wording

An error occurred in the LANDMARK PERSPECTIVE entitled "An 'Extrinsic Factor' and Pernicious Anemia," published in the Jan 27, 1984, issue of The Journal (1984;251:522-523). The first sentence of the last paragraph should have read as follows: "Another fascinating sidelight in the saga of pernicious anemia is that vitamin B12 may have been actually isolated in crystalline form in 1939—nine years before others9,10 made that discovery—by Laland's group in Scandinavia, but Castle and Ham didn't know it until 1960."
