To the Editor.—
We were very interested in the patient who experienced the inhalation of a jet-propelled dime reported by McGonagle and Reams.1 A similar incident occurred at our institution. We would like to refer readers to the June 1984 edition of the American Review of Respiratory Disease2 for our case report as well as experimental data addressing this problem.
