This EDUCATION ISSUE of JAMA is the 84th Annual Report on Medical Education in the United States. The first such report was published in the Sept 21, 1901, issue of The Journal.
The current EDUCATION ISSUE provides information on educational programs leading to the MD degree, the financial operation of medical schools, residency training programs, educational programs for physicians in medical practice, programs for the training of allied health care professionals, and government-sponsored medical educational programs.
