To the Editor.—  I refer to Dr Dean D. Richards1 recent article concerning the spontaneous rupture of an iliac artery aneurysm into the underlying iliac vein. Although Dr Richards claims that his case represents the first recorded instance of a spontaneous fistula involving an iliac artery aneurysm, Dr George C. Morris, Jr, and I reported a similar case2 approximately four years ago.
