To the Editor.—
In the Jan 11, 1985, issue, the authors of the article, "Lightning Injury With Survival in Five Patients,"1 state the following: "Reports of lightning injuries range from the anecdotal to collective reviews of large numbers of patients injured in natural electrocutions." I bring to the attention of the authors and the editors that if someone is electrocuted he dies. If someone is merely injured, the term "electrocution" is incorrect.
