Two errors occurred in the article entitled "HTLV-III Infection Among Health Care Workers: Association With Needle-Stick Injuries," published in the Oct 18 issue of The Journal (1985;254:2089-2093). The fifth sentence of the abstract on page 2089 should have read, in part, as follows: "Thirty-nine (14%) of 278 workers at one institution as well as a total of nine [not 'five'] workers from other institutions reported possible percutaneous exposure to HTLV-III." On page 2091, the penultimate sentence of the section entitled "Health Worker A" should have read as follows: "At the request of these agencies, we urged subject A to also be interviewed by a member of these agencies."
