—In the column of miscellaneous items of the present number of the Journal, will be found a notice indicating that the genial and well-known permanent secretary of the American Medical Association has been taking to himself a "better half;" thereby not only renewing the joys of youth, but providing against the loneliness of solitary age. We tender to both parties our cordial congratulations, and the earnest wish that life, to them, may be long and happy.
