Abstract

Dear Sir:  —Having been much interested by Dr. Nunn's article on the treatment of diphtheria, published in the Journal of June 13, I wish to testify to the good effects of the biniodide of mercury in my hands. For the past six years I have depended upon it entirely for constitutional treatment, and in that time have not had a single case of paralysis, and a much smaller proportion of fatal cases, than with any other treatment I have ever used. For local treatment I have generally used tr. ferri chlor., 1 part to 2 parts of water, applied every two or three hours with a brush. Respectfully,
