Abstract

The preliminary circular announces that the next annual meeting of this important organization will be held in Memphis, Tenn., November 8, 9, 10, 11, 1887. The Executive Committee have selected the following topics for special consideration at the meeting: a. The Pollution of Water-Supplies; b. The disposal of Refuse Matter of Cities; c. The disposal of Refuse Matter of Villages, Summer Resorts and Isolated Tenements; d. Animal Diseases Dangerous to Man. No more interesting or important topics could be selected for the thorough study of the Sanitarians of this country at the present time. All papers intended for this meeting should be plainly written or printed, and be in the hands of the Secretary at least twenty days before the date of the annual meeting.
