In this book, part of which has appeared in the form of articles in journals devoted to electrotherapeutics, the author urges the giving of greater attention to correct diagnosis in the early stages of malignant growths, and emphasizes the importance of treatment at this time. He discusses the nature of malignant growths, the search for possible cancer germs, and the differential diagnosis, as well as the destruction of these tumors by the local cataphoric diffusion of metallic ions. He gives the details of his method of treatment as well as a description and choice of apparatus. Cases are reported of malignant tumors of various parts of the body cured after ionic treatment, and photographs are reproduced of the patients before and after operation.
