This little work has been rewritten, dead timber eliminated, and new drugs of approved value added. With its classification of drugs, doses and therapeutic indications, formulas for hypodermic medication and for inhalations, suggestions of drugs for various diseases, treatment of asphyxia, poisons and their antidotes, it contains in its 203 pages a mass of information compactly arranged for ready reference. The attempt to teach the Latin of prescription writing has not been entirely successful, owing to a number of misprints of case endings.
