To the Editor:  —I read in the issue of July 13 (p. 126), the editorial entitled "Party Platforms and National Health Service." Will it be out of place to call your attention to the plank in the Socialist party platform, adopted at Indianapolis in May, relative to this very thing? The Socialist party must, therefore,be given credit for taking this advanced stand. The plank referred to is No. 13 and reads: "The enactment of further measures for the conservation of health. The creation of an independent bureau of health, with such restrictions as will secure full liberty to all schools of practice."
