The President, Dr. R. Stansbury Sutton of Pittsburg, was introduced and delivered the President's Address. He selected for his subject,
FIBROID TUMORS OF THE UTERUS.
After giving a definition of these tumors the author dwelt upon the etiology, which he said is still a mystery. They are more frequent in the black than in the white race. In both races they are more frequent in the body than in the neck of the uterus, and more frequently situated in
