To the Editor:  —After many years of special experience in the treatment of pulmonary consumption and its various complications, I find the prescription herewith enclosed the most efficient and least disturbing to combat hectic fever:R Phenocoll.Salicin āā gr. 48.Sulphate Hydrastiæ gr. 24.M. ft. 24 capsules.Sig: One capsule every four to eight hours, as may be necessary to cool or prevent hectic fever. Of course, such other treatment, local or constitutional, as may be indicated should be diligently administered.Yours truly,
