Physicians Organize to Serve in the War.  —A meeting of the medical section of the State Committee of National Defense for the State of Alabama was held in the Senate Chamber of the State Capitol at Montgomery, June 14. There were over 200 physicians in attendance. Practically every county in the state was represented. In opening the meeting Dr. J. N. Baker, Montgomery, the chairman of the committee, stated that the registration returns of the state show there are 236 physicians in the state who are between the ages of 21 and 31 years.
