This book meets an evident need, for it is complete without being ultrascientific, and, while dealing with the complex relations of women to the demands of modern life, it is free from fads and unsound theories. The aim of the author has been to present the fundamental physiologic laws of personal hygiene as well as practical detailed directions for the proper development and care of the body. The book can be safely recommended to physicians who desire something of this sort to put into the hands of their women patients. It will also be of value to teachers.
