This little book contains the suggestions made to the public as a part of the educational and publicity work of the Chicago Department of Health. The subjects covered are various and are all intimately related to the comfort and health of the people. The hints are in the form of short, terse, epigrammatic paragraphs, each on a separate subject and intended to clinch in the mind of the lay reader the value of good health for himself and family. The book is admirably adapted to the instruction of the public, while the short paragraphs lend themselves readily to use in health bulletins and other mediums.
