The new edition of this essay is considerably enlarged and improved, and will doubtless prove as useful in the future as the other editions have in the past. The changes are chiefly in the application of the outdoor methods to sleeping facilities and the expansion of the outdoor school. A new chapter on school hygiene is introduced.
