The monograph is devoted to a description of the various species of amebas which have been described as parasitic to man, and will be of interest to those engaged in parasitology. The morphology, life-cycle, methods of differentiation and relations to disease of these parasites are taken up seriatim. Much space is given to the amebas of the intestinal tract, on which the author is regarded as an authority. The mechanical features of the book are excellent, and the illustrations add greatly to the verbal description.
