—I have read with interest Dr. Browne's criticism of my article. It seems to afford substantial proof of the correctness of my contention that my own students "are scarcely prepared to handle normal cases." His indictment is in many respects justifiable, and it was in great part owing to my recognition of the conditions of which lie complains that the article was written.
