Abstract

This book is so well known that the present edition needs no extended description. It is brought up to date by additions and corrections, and, as in previous editions, the author describes only methods which have been tried and proved valuable, not those still under criticism and judgment. This is one of the most complete text-books on the subject; not only is it a valuable reference book in the laboratory but much of it can be read with interest because of the valuable opinions of the author in regard to the conclusions which can be drawn from clinical laboratory methods of investigation.
