The present edition presents the valuable features of the first edition, viz., the prominence given to the eruptive fevers and their diagnosis from other forms of skin disease and the excellent illustrations of all forms of skin disease. Some new chapters have been added and the chapter on pellagra considerably enlarged to correspond with the increasing interest in the disease. The section on the treatment of syphilis has been entirely rewritten to include treatment by salvarsan and a. chapter on the Wassermann reaction added. The clear style, systematic arrangement and convenient size will commend the work to general practitioners.
