—I think Dr. E. L. Munson is right in allowing a moderate amount of carbohydrates in diabetes mellitus. I have done so for the last eight years, and the results have been better than under a strict proteid diet.I also allow the patient to drink all the water he wants, because it dilutes the urine and makes it less irritable to kidneys and bladder and, I think, lessens the danger of coma.Respectfully,
