Abstract

New Orleans, La., Aug. 11, 1897.

To the Editor:  —May I trouble you to give me a detailed statement in regard to Dr. Clement Dukes' "Health at School," referred to in the excellent editorial on swimming which appeared in the last Journal? I should like to know where and by whom the work is published, the size and price. If you could refer me to other works bearing on the direction of physical training in schools I should be much obliged, as I have undertaken to do work of that kind and wish to prepare myself for it. Hoping that this may not entail too much labor I am, with best wishes for yourself and the Journal,Very truly yours,

Answer:  —See small work on "Swimming" by Martin Corbett (All-England series), London, 1890; also volume on "Swimming" in Badminton Library, by Sinclair and Henry, published by Longmans, Green & Co.,
