Aurora, Ill., Sept. 2, 1897.
To the Editor:
—Since the publication of my article in the Journal on "A New Curette," I have been in receipt of numerous inquiries as to where the instrument is made. A footnote in the original article stated that it was to be made by Sharp & Smith, but, I presume from some oversight, was omitted. I shall deem it a great favor if you will make a note as to who the makers are in the next issue of the Journal.Sincerely,
Smith CL. The Maker of a New Instrument. JAMA. 1897;XXIX(11):548. doi:10.1001/jama.1897.02440370042010
