To the Editor:  —Thank you for the beautiful plates you had provided for my article on splinting. The Journal under your management has become of medical journals in America facile princeps. I congratulate you on your excellent work since editing the Journal, and hope the Journal shall enjoy your services until it attains the circulation it deserves—20,000—and indefinitely after that. Very sincerely,
