This work brings out a point in genito-urinary diagnosis that is probably not familiar to most practitioners—the value of the inspection of the ureteral orifice. The author has formulated certain rules for ureteric meatoscopy and gives examples of his experience with this method during ten years. It seems to us that the author has made a very good case for this method of examination. How far it can be substituted for the more elaborate examinations or other methods is beyond our province to state.
