Medico=Legal Society of New York.  —At a meeting of this society held at the Marborough Hotel, April 15, among the scientific papers read, was one on the Röntgen rays in medico-legal surgery, by J. M. Bleyer, M.D.The "Western Association of Eye, Ear, Throat and Nose Surgeons" was organized at Kansas City, Mo., April 10. Seventy-five surgeons were in attendance. Adolf Alt, of St. Louis, was elected president.The Tennessee State Medical Society held its sixty-third annual meeting at Chattanooga, Tenn., April 14. President, G. C. Savage, M.D., Nashville. The delegates were welcomed on behalf of the citizens by Mayor Ochs, and by Dr. G. A. Baxter on behalf of the local members of the profession. Among the members who have been longest connected with the association appear the names of Dr. J. B. Lindsley, Nashville, who entered the society in 1845; Dr. T. Briggs and Dr. Thomas J. Maddin,
