This is a practical, concise and intelligible book for the use of students. Methods of work and technic are alone considered. The proteids and proteid reactions are fully dealt with. The chapters on the blood and on the urine are particularly good and should prove of value not only to students, but to general practitioners. Experiments are described fully, and there are numerous cross references which add to the value of the work.
