Abstract

The third annual meeting of the Conference of State Medical Examining and Licensing Boards, heretofore announced in this journal, will be held at the Pfister Hotel, Milwaukee, June 7, 1893.

There is no one organization in the country that can effect as much for the advancement of the profession as this.

The number of these official bodies is increasing each year in keeping with the general progress of the profession. The mere fact of their existence is an additional stimulus and incentive to higher requirements on the part of the teaching bodies. It is in the highest degree desirable that this meeting should be attended by all of the members of the various licensing boards in the United States and Canada. And especially is it important that recently created boards should avail themselves of this opportunity to profit by the experience of those who have had long training in the
