To the Editor of The Journal of the American Medical Association:
—In your issue of the 13th inst. is a letter from Edward Jackson of Philadelphia, on revision of the Code. I write to express myself as in hearty accord with all he has written. In addition, permit me to express the hope that the Association will speedily absolve all its members from further adherence to the present Code, and give us in its place a few sentences defining conduct unbecoming a physician. Respectfully,
Wright HJB. Code of Ethics. JAMA. 1893;XX(21):588. doi:10.1001/jama.1893.02420480016006
